You can use the VariZoom VZBLACKHAWK-HD-AB Black Hawk Stabilizer with broadcast, HD and film camera systems weighing from 10lbs to 25lbs. Incorporating a dual-dynamic arm system, the Black Hawk stabilizer provides vertical travel up to 38" and augmented stability in professional production environments. Also included are 25 precision bearings and 4 stainless-steel springs that allow the dynamic arm system to support the camera systems. A 2-stage reversible arm bridge provides left or right orientation and 4" up/down positioning. Adjustments for arm orientations from the vest mount are possible providing arm tilt correction via the MX-TA Trim Adjuster. Aligning the mounting axis of the arm perpendicular to the ground is allowed, enabling you to effectively control the HDC2 sled and concentrate on the production spot.

You are offered enhanced comfort and longer duration camera support abilities via a form-fit vest that includes a contoured chest pad, 4-point buckle system for a firm torso grip, 2-stage reversible arm bridge and a height adjustable chest plate. High-precision tuning of horizontal balance is possible via a micro-adjustable gear drive stage. You can achieve rapid setup and breakdown of the Black Hawk stabilizer using the 11" quick-release dovetail camera plate. M

A 3-axis gimbal integrating 6 sets of bearings provides fluid motion and forms a rugged core for the stabilizer. Sled position control and gimbal position adjustments are possible via an ergonomically-sloped, detachable extension grip. You are also provided with dual AB battery mounts. Vertical balance is achieved via the battery and monitor (included) combination acting as a counter weight at the base of the sled with possible fine-tuning by position adjustment. You can store the Black Hawk stabilizer in a custom rolling case that includes form-cut foam inserts that secure the individual components in place and a telescopic handle and wheels for effortless carry or roll.
