VariZoom Swivel Mount Works Great!
I bought this to put in the hot-shoe of my Nikon D3s to mount a Flip video camera on so I could simultaneously grab video while shooting. Works great! Made very well from aluminum, including the foot and does not short out contacts on the camera. The ball head allows you to adjust vid camera to have the same focus point as the camera. Highly recommended!

Robust swivel shoe mount
This swivel is hardy, robust and reliable. I mount my Marshall monitor and I know it is safe when attached to it.

Worked as Advertised
You either need to use one of these or you don't, I use it to support a monitor on my 7D, works great.
Would be better if it had a 1.4 20 hole in the bottom so it could be mounted in places other then the hot shoe.
