Found this on sale and took advantage of it. My precious Vanguard ball head lost a seal and begun leaking and needed replaced. This one is a faster setup than my my previous one. Really like this one a lot more.

I bought this ball head to replace the pistol-grip head that came with my Vanguard tripod. I found the pistol grip awkward to use, might be personal taste. But this ball head is great, easy on/off, simple adjustment knobs, good hold once you lock it down. Nothing fancy, but well designed. As a plus the camera footplate fits into my pd belt clip so it's easy to go back and forth between tripod and handheld without changing any hardware. Overall I find the Vanguard system good value for the money, it's not RRS but it's well designed and works.

With 22 lb. support rating, this product can easily handle DSLR+telephoto lens or DSLR+flash light. It’s mechanical tolerance is excellent. In fact, it’s panning wheel is so tight. I have to oil it up to rotate it. It arrived with slight cosmetic dent at the bottom but didn’t affect its functionality. For convenience, one can buy extra quick shoes for fast change over in action. Overall, it’s 5 stars.

Ball head looked great initially until I noticed both bubble levels were glued on crookedly. As it is now the ball head is worthless for panning and panoramas until I fix it myself. Now I know why Adorama was clearing these out for 19.99.

Swivel head is nice well made and solid, for 20$ I couldn't lose, now to compare it to the 10$ one coming tommorrow.

Great deal on a solid ball head. upgraded an aluminum tripod with a better weight capacity head. works great, smooth and solid. Hard to beat it for the price to improve a travel tripod.

This better than the early tripod head. Easy to maneuver. It has 2 eye level bubbles ( vertical and horizontal). I would recommend.

Very sturdy head. I use it on a monopod with my Canon 80D and Tamron 150-600. Others I've tried seem to slowly become loose. This one locks tight with ease. So far this is my favorite head for moving around quickly. The price was great too!

Good build and range of motion. Needed a new one and after reading prior reviews this one was selected. No regrets.

This ball head is one hell of an add on for any tripod or slider out there. The magnesium alloy gives it a light weight but the feel of heavy duty steel. If you have any experience with Vanguard the TBH-100 ball head is a good product to start with and experience the Vanguard quality!

I had problems with a previous ball head which would not support my Nikon D810 and 28-300 or 17-35 lenses safely. I like the lever action style of main tentioner instead of just a dail type and this has proven to be the case with this Vanguard TBH-100 ball head. It holds the camera and lenses very securily and the bubble level has been useful as well. Factor in the price, and it is a really great ball head for use with any light mirrorless camera right up to a heavier lens/camera combo like the one I use.

I used this to replace the bullhead on my older vanguard tripod. At this cost was hard to beat. The plate from my peak design capture pro also fits on this which is nice. Would definitely buy again!

I LOVE this ball head! So easy to use and it’s extremely well made. The knobs on this unit are positioned so that you can adjust them with ease and they will stay put no matter what position you put your camera in. From the standpoint of someone who happens to have rheumatoid arthritis, I really need to have knobs/levers on a tripod head that move and tighten effortlessly and that won’t make me wince in pain from having to grip so tightly because they’re too small, etc. This ball head really does the job; I’m extremely happy with my purchase and can’t wait to break this baby out! I am definitely going to buy another one of these Vanguard heads to use as my backup; between the quality of the product and the fabulous price, it’s a huge win all the way around!

This is my first Ball Head and it works a real treat. I like it so much I bought a second one for my son. It functions well and I enjoy the smooth operation, great for panning also. I highly recommend this Vanguard TBH-100 .

The Vanguard TBH-100 Ball Head has it all: Security, versatility and ease of use. Its universal, 38 mm quick shoe plate with clamp knob not only allows for hassle-free use with other standardized tripod heads, but it also enables fine camera placement adjustments when attached without risk of accidental release thanks to its built in safety pin. An oversized, easy-to-grip lever can be repositioned easily for comfortable use and provides unwaveringly secure locking, so your gear stays in place, no matter the angle. An oxidization anodized surface on the ball ensures it will remain scratch free and provide ultra-smooth and precise movements.
