I would always use this at the beach. I used it for a supposedly waterproof camera, and due to some clouds caused by the humid day, took the "waterproof" camera out. Bad move on my part because the "waterproof" camera leaked. I was barely a foot under water. This little item, however is a MUST for protecting your equipment around water. It's a bit challenging to close but even with that, great for keeping sand and salt off your camera!!!
