I was truly impressed at the quality and accuracy of the sound coming from my S701 Stereo Amplifier. I'm listening to my vinyl records and CDs collections through my vintage Infinity RS 1.5 speakers and my vintage JBL Century 100 speakers. I'm 70 years old so I listen to mostly classic,80s, 90's rock and blues.

Great Smooth Integrated HiFi Amplifier

I have it powering 4 klipsch 820f tower speakers and 1 klipsch rw 120 sub woofer .music supplied by a Dennon CD player and a 800+ CD collection . They produce a very clean , loud , and powerful music experience ! My neighbors are listening to great music whether they like it or not . # sweepstakes .

Love the pure dynamic setting. No idea what the heck it does exactly but vinyl sound great. Paired this with a Yamaha CD player and things are perfect.

Perfect For Vinyl

I would buy this amp again but I would spring for the A-S801

I use the amplifier to hear music from computer. All king of music: jazz, rock, classical, electronic from '70.
Also use it to hear the sound while see film on tv.

Few controls and very good sound. Just how I Like it.

Mostly Jazz and classic music listening

Very musical? very quiet?

I replaced an aging Carver receiver with the A-S701. Instant BIG improvement in the sound quality my system provides. Other components: Technics SL1200M3D turntable, NAD cd player, Nakamichi cassette deck, Polk SDA SRS2 speakers

Excellent product!

I wast really impressed the way it improved the performance of my speakers. I had an Onkyo amp before and it did not come close to the depth of sound that the Yamaha produces. 

The unit is very heavy, and that tells you how much quality went into making it. Now lets see how long it lasts.

Put my speakers into top performance

Remote does all functions on Yamaha tuner except on & off. Other then that this is one great piece!

Very crisp sound with no distortion at any volume.

I use the amp to listen to CD's. It has plenty of clean power to drive higher end speakers that require a lot of power. Sounds excellent at any volume. An outstanding value with great features.

EXCEPTIONAL PRODUCT

Ihave added plenty of old and new kit to this and it sounds great with power to boot, have a tape deck and a minidisc recorder plus cd and phono hooked up amp and still have spares!

Using this to drive my Polk Rtia9's, and does it effortlessly with plenty power to spare, great sound and like the Bluetooth connections, direct cd and remote, which also operates my Yamaha cd player.
