Carl Zeiss Sports Optics introduces two new Conquest binoculars 8x50 and 10x50 designed for those who need powerful, yet portable equipment. The new 50mm Conquest binoculars join the 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm and 45mm models of this rugged binocular series known for its exceptional price-performance ratio.

Specifically designed for low light conditions, the 50mm Conquests are ideal forglassing wildlife at dawn and dusk. The outstanding twilight performance of these binoculars is evident the minute you look through them in low light conditions thanks to the sizable exit pupils -- 5mm for the 10x50 and 6.25mm forthe 8x50.

Both models feature Zeiss' proprietary, high efficiency Abbe-Konig prism system with P* phase correction coating for maximum light transmission and Zeiss' T* multi-coating on all glass-air surfaces, and now with new LotuTec coating. The result is a bright, sharp image with brilliant and accurate color.

The comfortable yet rugged design allows easy use in all weather conditions. Like all Conquest binoculars, the 50 mm models are waterproof, dustproof and nitrogen filled. The housing, made of a high-performance, glass-fiber reinforcedpolyamide with 60% glass fiber, is completely encased in a durable armored exterior that is shock absorbent while dampening noise. The sturdy ribs provide optimum grip with or without gloves, even in the rain, and the rotating eyecups make it easy to use with or without eyeglasses.
