This material is a practical alternative to either dry mounting or cold mounting, mainly because all that is needed is the material itself and the included squeegee and release sheet. The drawback with this material is that it can be tricky to use.The adhesive closely resembles rubber cement, and it is sometimes difficult to get the adhesive to transfer completely.By far the worst problem is the potential messiness.Small lumps of the adhesive can be picked by the hands, and then can be transferred to other surfaces, usually the material being mounted.Once deposited,it is nearly impossible to remove without ruining a print.Loose bits of adhesive are everywhere;on the work surface ,the floor, and clothing. With this material, technique is everything, and much practice and care is needed to use this product. But,it does work. And,Adorama seems to be the only place to but it.

I bought this as an alternative to send out project photos to be dry-mounted in our architecture firm's office. This not only saved us a few hundred dollars...but we have half the roll left for future mounting. We have tried to use spray mounts in the past and they have never come close to the results we achieved with this product.

I used this stuff as a graphic designer in the Marine Corps and it's awesome. No over spray or mess as with the canned stuff and holds stronger and longer than other adhesives.

A dry, synthetic, easy-to-use, pressure sensitive adhesive. Allows repositioning of artwork until bond is made permanent. Just unroll PMA adhesive side up, position artwork, and cut the PMA flush or leave a narrow border for trimming. Place the artwork face up on the release paper, protect with slip sheet and rub with a squeegee or roller to transfer adhesive to back of the artwork. Remove the liner and position the adhesive coated artwork on the mounting surface. Cover with a slip sheet and rub with squeegee or use the C-35 PMA applicator for a permanent bond.
