I compared this prism diagonal to a top end dielectric mirror diagonal on Jupiter and the moon
I compared this prism diagonal to a top end dielectric mirror diagonal on Jupiter and the moon. In my 140mm Apo refractor the bands on Jupiter were slightly more defined and brighter. Also, the limb of the moon showed no false color through the Baader prism diagonal. If you are wanting to get the absolute most out of your telescope this Baader/Zeiss prism diagonal will step up the quality of the images.

This zeiss prism rocks!
Used on sv130edt refractor telescope and C9.25 sct. Provides beautiful, contrasty planetary views. Solid robust construction. Attenuates the light scatter that mirrors exhibit. Excellent at focal ratio of 7 and above by lack of false color from bright objects. Handles the wide view of the pentax XW40 eyepiece. If your scope is a focal ratio of 6 and below get the T2 version, if false color from bright objects bother you.
