Shopper  Is this the plate for a Canon 5D MkII Camera With a BG-E6 Battery Grip?
EDWARD H  I have used my Acratech on a 7D both with and without the Canon battery pack and it has worked just fine. I can't speak for a 5D. I have also used it on my 6D but not with a battery pack. Hope this helps.
