Great for work, but...

By

They are great for working with audio, for listening, not so good, but... Good: They are really awesome to do your job (i do some video work, and audio optimization). They are producing very natural sound, very accurate and clean midrange, pretty good are hight frequencies too, but for me they can be annoying (it's my problem, i just don't like too much details and transparency in upper range, but it's my taste). Bad: They demand best recordings, just forget mp3. Lack of bass(no comments), big problem here, but depends on what you are listening. Cable isn't detachable, if it's big problem go for Quincy Jones version, and pay for colorful cable more. Bottom line: I think they are great, for work and for classical music, also for jazz, for electro they could be great (Daft Punk). Would i recommend them ? Only if you need a pari for work, and don't want to bother with another pair to listen music. Not for audiophiles (or get great amp, and boost the bass). Best recommendation – give a try to them in work space, and get B&W P5 for music on-the-go, they have anything you need, and build quality is great.
