I use them all the time in flashes and other devices. I suggest getting the Ansmann charger instead of some cheaper alternative.Scott M : I use them with my Canon 580EX II on my Canon 5D2. They seem to last forever. Just did a wedding and got almost 600 shots out of them. Granted, the recycle time gets longer after that many shots, but I was not needing speed by the end. I have 3 sets of 4 so I never have to worry about light! I highly recommend them over any others! I also recommend the LaCrosse Technoligies BC 700 to charge them! It works great and can also condition them to prolong the life of the batteries. AFTER TWO WEEK'S I CHARGE IT UP AGAIN AND START OVER NOT WANTING THE BATTERIES TO GO DEAD ON ME WHILE I AM ON PATROL.
MY CAMERA TAKES TWO BATTERIES, THE OTHER TWO ARE FULLY CHARGED READY TO BE PUT IN MY CAMERA AT THE END OF TWO WEEK'S.
HOPE THIS HELP'SRON S : Batteries work well, hold a charge and deliver fast recycle times. I my flash in the manual mode and have taken 350 wedding photos with out changing the batteries.

Erie, PAMIKE R : They will perform very nicely! I bought the Ansmann 16 battery charger to shoot indoor sports in a dark gym and I change out batteries less frequently than expensive lithium AA's. And wow, do I save a ton Of cash!TOM S : I've been using them in a trail camera, have used similar ones in camera flashes with good results. These are as good or better than any others I have tried.THANE S : I use them in my Nikon SB-900 and they are the longest lasting rechargables I have use at this point.RODGER B : They work great with my Nikon Speedlight SB-700. I'm not familiar with the Bower Auto TTL flash but I would assume they would work just fine.

I´ve used a Le Crosse BC-900 with these and it works very well.JONATHAN B : I use either Duracell 15 or 30 minute charger. It works great.MICHAEL N : any charger will work, but it should be a slow, tapering charger to get the most life from your batteries. the higher the capability of the charger, the faster it will charge the batteries. i charge mine every weekend and get about 1 year out of them with heavy drainage when shooting weddings. good batteries but be sure the metallic cover is clear of the bottom of the battery when charging. the charger light may go on, but you will not get a full charge if the current is going through the wrapper.Scott M : Any charger will work, but its best to use a slow trickle charger. I use the LaCrosse BC-700. These batteries have an amazing amount of power. They seem to last forever in my Canon 580EXII. I usually charge at 200mah, so as not to overheat and also extend the life of the batteries. I also do a discharge and refresh at least once every couple of months. These Ansmann batteries are the best I have used. Hope this helps!HOWARD D : I've charged these batteries with whatever charger I have on hand ie Sanyo or Sony. As long as the charger is NiMh compatible, shouldn't be a problem. I've used these batteries in a digital camera for the last year and they have been very reliable and durable.FRANK T V : First of all, the Ansmann AA 2850 mAh batteries are excellent. I use them with my Sigma EF-530 DG Super flash unit. I'm planning on buying another set of 4 for my "Point & Shoot" Camera that I use when I need a quick shot before I can get mt Nikon D90 out of it's case.
As for chargers, I use a Duracell CEF14DX4 6 hour charger and an Energizer CHDC 8 hour charger. Both work fine. I think any chargers in this recharge range would do the job. I would stay away fom "quick" chargers as they really hammer the batteries and reduce their useful lifespan.

My new goto NiMH Battery
I use these in my Bolt battery pack for a Nikon SB900. They charge up fairly fast and maintain their power. They have held up for approximately 300 shots so far and still recycle my speed lite quickly! Compared to my usual 2900MaH NiMhs these compare equal I f not better to include the price. Highly recommend you try them. I own 8 and plan to buy another 16 for my other flashes.

Long last mAH Available yet
If you always need more battery power eirther as a photographer or anything then go for this because it is presently the only available battery that lives up to the mAH written on it.....

NO NEED TO BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN&AGAIN
THIS BATTERY IS RELIABLE. I CHARGED THEM ALL AT ONCE AND THEY ARE READY TO GO. ONE CHARGE CAN FINISH THE WHOLE WEDDING ASSIGNMENT. THAT IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PRODUCT, RELIABLE AND DURABLE.

Excellent batteries
I've used my first set in a Sigma EF-530 DG Super flash and taken over 150 photos using it with my Nikon D90. The batteries still test good. I also have a Canon A1100 IS that goes with me for quick shots when fishing and I'm going to use Ansmann batteries in it also. These batteries hold up well especially in cold weather.

I would by this again and recommand it!
I used this product in an SB-800 Nikon flash. It worked perfectly and I was able to get over 200 shots with a very good recycle time. Great product.
