Purchased this item for charging various rechargeable batteries at home and out in the field. Never really impressed with the recharge time even with quick charge batteries. Having used other battery chargers at a fraction of the price, this unit did not perform well. After about a year of light service, this unit stopped working altogether.

bought this of the reviews .need more chargers have about 30+ envelops so far so good .the only problem ( my fault ) I'm color blind have to ask the kids and wife what color are they .

This is a decent charger. It does everything it claims it's supposed to do. I use it with my eneloop rechargeable batteries and so far so good. The only downside to this charger is it can only handle 6 AA's. It would be perfect if it could handle 4 AA's. Would make my re-charging a little bit easier.

The first one ordered lasted only days. Very dissappionted but it was replaced rapidly. now less than six months later second one burt. They only get light use it should last many years.

This is a highly versatile charger. It does what others don't: it conditions batteries as opposed to just charging them. I use this to charge our eneloops which are great for flashes and for kids' toys. The fact this little omni-shaped charger can charge 8 AA's as well as batteries of other sizes is a plus!

I have tried to use other chargers in the pase and kept putting off the purchase of this unit until I finally got fed up with everything else and finally bit the bullet and decided I needed the best and was through fooling around. I am so glad I did and my batteries never felt better nor lasted longer. This charger was able to recover sever that other charges gave up on. I am very happy with this purchase and wouldn't use anything else ever again. It's quality and performance speaks for itself, if you want and need the best, just buy it.

Great for recharging different size batteries and multiple batteries at the same time. Easy to tell if batteries are good/bad or fully recharged.

This is a very nice simple charger that can discharge/recharge nimh and nicad batteries. Simple no fuss operation, nothing to set, the charger decides whether to restore or just charge a battery. The only negative is that it can't always restore batteries, for that a Maha or La Crosse charger will work better, but require a lot more manual setting. But if you want a reliable charger that doesn't take any thinking, and also will trickle charge batteries so you can store them in the charger, this is the one.
