Shopper : How do you charge the battery? How do you put into the charger?JEFF C : The bottom portion of the charger slides down and is spring loaded to hold the battery in place. There are contacts and the front and back for standard batteries AAA - D Cell and there are to contacts that slide on tracks in the middle that can be adjusted to fit just about any other battery out there. I used this charger to handle the slim battery from an Olympus point and shoot camera and also a much bulkier battery for an Canon DSLR. It is a very versatile and useful charger!

Nearly all rechargeable batteries with Li-Ion and Li- Polymer technology currently on the market can be charged with the DigichargerVario.
