I used this product for a couple of years and it worked well. Then the connection to the cooling fan started to become loose. Eventually every time I moved the laptop it lost connection. The fans also became quite noisy.

They seemed like a good idea until invariably the USB power fails. Sure you can order and replace it, but they fail. The badly designed contact going into the cooler will disconnect almost instantly. It's infuriating watching the device power down by the second. DUAL USB would have been a better connection than the poor excuse they improvised.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1501, it,s standard size as most laptops with a 15.5" screen and the cooler fits nice underneath. It's been running nonstop for over a year now with no problems. It's quiet, but it has a blue LED light on the side that is bright at night if you keep it in the bedroom. Great value for the price!

> Runs very quiet > USB port remains available for other uses > Notebook base remains cool even after many hours of use > Notebook firmly supported with no slippage > One negative: my wrist gel support now needs to be elevated to match height of notebook on top of cooler base. If this cooler had an angle adjustment it would rate a full 5 stars.

The Antec Notebook Cooler Cooling System helps your laptop run better and last longer by quietly whisking heat away from delicate components.
