We used these for a rackount SmartUPS install and these things are rock solid. Definitely perfect fit/design with APC UPS and APC hardware. But, wow, these are pricey. Usually feel good paying a bit more for the peace-of-mind with OEM hardware, but there's not much to these rail kits. Good product but not sure about the price/cost.

You will need to purchase additional screws if you plan on using the included ears. Each kit comes with 2 sets of ears; one for 2U equipment and another set for 3U and up equipment. Although the installation instructions declare that the 8x flat head machine screws that attach the ears to the equipment are included, they are not. Instead, the kit includes pan head machine screws with lock washers which have no use during installation. Apparently an error that occurs when kits are packed for shipment. This is true for all 24 of the kits we purchased.
