I read the extended warranty fine print that I bought with my TV. The extended warranty _demanded_ that I use a surge protector so this is good real insurance that enables the extended warranty insurance. I like the way it can mount to a wall. It cleans up the installation.

This could be a great product, but APC has never updated the firmware. The similar firmware for PDUs has been through countless updates including many critical security patches!
