Holds everything!

It holds all of my gear, and then some. I can carry cables, chargers, filters, etc. It even has a nice side pocket for memory cards and my remote control. You will not be disappointed with this case; I promise!

Good bag for storing your equipment

I bought this bag to store my equipment: Pentax K10D, 2 compact zoom lenses, 1 compact prime, flash, flash bracket, memory cards, batteries, charger, card reader/drive. It serves this purpose very well, although I had to add velcro to more flexibly arrange the dividers. The bright yellow interior makes it easy to find things in the main storage compartment. The additional side and front pockets are nicely designed. The negative is that this bag is not good for hiking as it is awkward to carry...

The negative is that this bag is not good for hiking as it is awkward to carry and does not seem like it is rugged enough for hiking on a trail or to stand up to rain and snow.

Ape Case Pro

By

I needed a great durable day bag that I could carry my DSLR with a 70-200mm lens attached, my filters, lens cleaning supplies, extra battery, and SD cards. This bag is awesonme for carrying those items I need for a sports photoshoot when I don't need to have all my lenses. The adjustable padded baffles allows the large lens to be cradled securely, but still gives me quick access to the camera. Bag includes enough pockets and storage compartments for all my accessories for the day. I especially appreciate the straps included for a monopod attachment. With the adjustable compartments on the interior, I can adjust the bag to carry everything I need for the day. Whether using my 35mm lens or the 70-200mm zoom lens, it adjusts for each condition. The bag construction is as sturdy as you can get with zippers, clips and flaps to protect your gear inside the bag. This bag might eventually replace my back pack bag when I travel.

Good quality, great price.

This is my second Ape case. My first was for my SLR Canon D60 camera, extra lens and external flash. I purchased the smaller case for my recently purchased Canon G20 camcorder. Purchased this case because of the reasonable price and the camera protection and ease of access.

Nice Bag

This is a very nice bag, the bright interior makes it easy to locate the equipment. I wish that the top was easier to flip open completely.

Outstanding

I got mine a couple years ago, and I'm just now getting around to writing a review. It's held up beautifully in that time. Not a single issue whatsoever. Whether you're packing an SLR, or a DSLR, there's plenty of room for a couple bodies, several lenses, and more. For example, I keep mine packed with a Minolta SR-T 101, 58mm MC Rokkor-PF f/1.4, 135mm MC Tele-Rokkor-PF f/2.8, Nikon D5100, 50mm AF-S Nikkor f/1.4G, about 15 rolls of 35mm film, light meter, external flash, and various other necessities. The tripod straps are also great. The shoulder strap is comfortable, and the rubberized pad keeps slippage at bay. The interior of the bag is bright yellow, so you can easily see whatever it is you're storing, and the padding arrangement is customizable. The exterior is rugged and durable. Normally, I'd say that for its price, this is a fantastic bag, but even if the price were higher, this would still qualify as a fantastic bag.

Small but versitile

By

Pretty well made and although small, has a place for most everything. The shoulder strap is non-slip and conforms to your shoulder instead of just a straight strap. The bright yellow inside makes finding things easier than if it were also black or a dark color.

This case is excellent for storing and carrying my back-up camera, an extra lens, and a shoe mount flash.

Excellent value for the price

Just took a week-long photo shoot in Boston. The case performed well, was acceptable as a carryon, and held enough gear for every situation I encountered - two bodies, a few lenses, and miscellany.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ROBERT H  Space was the main reason. My old one was to small and a real pain. This case with it's yellow interior(yes it helps!) is very adjustable. It can hold all my gear, and there is a strap for my tripod. It is rugged it, seals well and cleans easily. I get thru airpot security no problem, can't say it's TSA approved but so far so good.
Joseph D  I recently purchased a Nikon 5100 with two lenses. A 18-55mm, and a 55-mm. Also have a flash with separate light defuser, three filters, charger, extra battery and some literature used for reference. The bag that came with the kit is smug with all of this gear in it. Is this bag big enough to handle the items detailed above?
DOUGLAS B  That Ape case is big enough, yes. I've got very similar eqmt in mine plus more batteries, plus camcorder batteries, mic, tapes, cords, two cases of 8 AA cells, memory cards, and more. A very spacious and adaptable case. Excellent quality that holds up in field use. It will help if your lit is not 8-1/2 by 11. Mine holds the original camera manual and a ref book easily, plus more refs in an end pocket. This is one of those products that works very well, without any annoyances or features left out. At this price, I kept waiting for stitches to unravel or fabric to wear. No chance. This case is a great value, but also an excellent case regardless of price.
Darrell M  What is the weight of the ACPRO1400 camera case? Thank you.
JEFFREY D  It weighs in at about 2 pounds, 10 oz.
