This is a great combination of size, weight and features. Can be used as a tablet alone. When the keyboard is attached it is as sturdy as any computer. Works great with Windows 8.1. Easy to type despite the compact size. Great sharp display. Just what I was looking for in a compact computer.

We use this for silly Facebook games, checking email, watching all sorts of media. The only thing it can't do is hack the Gibson or other resource-intense tasks.

I use my Asus tablet for Cloud applications on the Internet, especially those that require Internet Explorer to operate - with Windows, this tablet is absolutely perfect. Replaces my iPad @ less than half fhe price, thanks to Adorama. Shipment straight to my door - up & running in less than an hour. Battery life is really impressive.

This does exactly what I wanted: Provide full Windows 8.1 functionality in a tablet with MS Office bundled as a bonus. A few quirks I've run into: -The screen seems to require more attention to keep clean compared to other touchscreen products like smartphones. -Comes with a bit of bloatware from ASUS. I tried out their cloud storage program and was quite disappointed. -The keyboard feels a bit awkward to type on because it's so small, but it gets the job done. -The USB3.0 port is located on the detachable keyboard, not the tablet itself. -The tablet itself doesn't feel very sturdy in terms of the materials holding it together. I haven't dropped it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't survive. Overall, it offers great functionality at the cost of needing to be babied a little bit. No biggie.

This is a nice, serviceable little machine with the MS Office/Student bundle. The keyboard is a little quirky, which may be due to production economies.

You don't need a separate tablet and a laptop when you can have both in one sleek device with the ASUS Transformer Book T100TA. With the keyboard attached you can write papers and documents like you would on a laptop. But detach the 10.1-inch HD display and you've got a Windows 8.1 tablet with a multipoint touchscreen.
Not only that, it's small and light enough to take with you anywhere you go. And because of it's amazing battery life of about 11 hours, it just keeps going all day long, just like you do. It's got a USB 3.0 port, so you can transfer files up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0, and a powerful Intel Z3740 processor for smooth multitasking performance.
