I've had my Nexus 7 (2013 edition) for several months and I'm very happy with it. I do have to knock it one star because the touch screen is not consistantly responsive. I often have to tap something several times to get it to take. I found that using a capasitive stylus is far more reliable than my fingers. A freind has the same issue with his copy. on the positive side, this is an android device that supports Server/client functionality, so with an On-The-Go cable and a camera controller app, I can have complete control over my canon 60D with the tablet, including live view on the tablet. A much bigger live view than the tiny LCD on the back of the camera.

Battery life is not as great as the iPad mini 1st gen that I have. Other than that I am happy with everything this nexus 7. I rated it 4 star because mine has a multitouch issue. It's a bit annoying once in a while but I can live with that. XDA has a thread with solution for this issue but I haven't bothered to try it yet.

The new Nexus 7 is a fast tablet, and has 2GB DRAM to run multiple applications. Initially, there were a few bugs, such as the tablet getting stuck at the X, needing a factory reset to recover. And the GPS used to stop working after a while. However, I believe that these issues have since been resolved via a software update. It would have been great if the rear camera had a LED flash. Then the tablet would have been perfect.

Great over all. Fast and very sharp screen. The stock launcher app intermittently crash. After I installed "go launcher" from the google app store, problem solved. The slight narrower width compared to last years model also make it easier to fit in you pocket.
