Shopper : so this is base computer with no software installed?CRAIG C : Windows 7 is installed, but other than operating system utilities like Windows Mail, Windows Movie Maker, etc., there are no programs like Microsoft Office or Norton AntiVirus installed.MEGHAN S : What do you mean by no software? It includes all base software you need for it to run, yes, and comes like it would from Asus. It also comes with base versions of word/excel etc... typical to Windows computers.RAHUL T : It comes with preloaded software. Ir also gives you means to backup your entire laptops software as an image (bootable). Shopper : how long is battery life?CRAIG C : I am getting a little over 3 hrs doing general web surfing.JUSTIN K : On average, about 6 hours, with moderate browsing and word processing. Streaming video or playing games will probably cut it down by 1-2 hours.CECILIA R : On linux I can easily do 5 hours. Of course it's shorter when doing cpu intensive tasks. this is a really good laptop, and with an amazing price. It's as thin and light as macbook air. good speed. good sound and great resolution.Lighted keyboard very clear.Interesting quick start feature. Very good buy.

Asus Zenbook Prime UX32A-DB51

I love the black lit keyboard on this ultrabook. It feels very good to type on. It have 3 USB 3.0 and a regular hdmi port and SD card reader. I love the weight of this ultrabook. Its not too light nor too heavy. The overall build quality is really nice. I think ASUS did a really good job.

I love the black lit keyboard on this ultrabook. It feels very good to type on. It have 3 USB 3.0 and a regular hdmi port and SD card reader. I love the weight of this ultrabook. Its not too light nor too heavy. The overall build quality is really nice. I think ASUS did a really good job.

The Asus Zenbook Prime UX32A-DB51 13.3" Ultrabook Computer takes portability to the next level. With a super slim profile of about two-thirds of an inch and a weight of just over 3 pounds, this Asus Zenbook Prime was built for ultimate mobility. While thin and lightweight, this computer is far from fragile. It has a spun aluminum lid with precise-etched concentric circles to match its silver hairline chassis for a solid build and stylish design.

The 13.3" widescreen display features LED lamps, which brighten faster and use less energy than their CCFL counterparts. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is also the standard for HDTVs. The 1366 x 768 native resolution is supported by integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000.

The system is powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz Intel Core i5-3317U processor. It also has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, a 500 GB hard drive with 24 GB solid state storage reserved for the Instant On feature, 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, an integrated webcam and microphone. This Asus Zenbook Prime also has built-in stereo speakers powered by Bang and Olufsen ICEpower. Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
