J.M.I. JMI Telescope Carrying Case for 8" SCT Optical Tubes

The case fits the following models:
Celestron C8-S, C8-SGT, CGE 800, G-8, Great Polaris C8, Super Polaris C8; Meade GEM mounted 2080, LXD55 SC-8; Other older 8" SCT Optical Tube Assemblies)

The case includes die-cut foam lining with compartments for the telescope optical tube assembly (OTA), diagonal (must be removed from the scope), eyepieces and accessories. The finder scope must be detached and carried separately. The case can be secured by placing a padlock around the two halves of the 7/8" diameter handle.

Outside dimensions of the case are approximately 23" x 16-3/4" x 10" and its empty weight is approximately 7.1 lbs. The shipping box is approximately 23-1/8" x 10-1/8" x 17" and the shipping weight is approximately 9.5 lbs. All values are subject to slight changes. This case is 1" oversize for airline carryon.
