Works fine on a SmartStar G series
Just a counterweight used on a go-to mount that it was not designed for. The screw of the SmartStar G series will accept the shaft of this counterweight. Attach it, adjust and that's all. By adding mass to the G-mount you add damping and that's a good thing for your scope. If the scope is a long refractor this won't help you.
