If you have more than one telescope you can use your Telrad Finder on both telescopes by getting an additional mounting base.

Not much to say - it's a replacement Telrad base and does exactly what it's supposed to.
added it to my telescope
I had bought a very old Telrad at my Astronomy Club's recent fund raiser auction. I don't know how old it actually is but the batteries had corroded inside and it generally looked like it had sat in a garage for about 20 years. The mount had the old metal screws instead of the black plastic 'finger wheels' that the current models have. After cleaning and fixing, I wanted to use the Telrad on both of my scopes, but I was worried that the design might have changed in the intervening years so that an old Telrad would not fit a new mount. No reason to worry. Whether the designs have changed in any other way I can't say, but the mount connection is exactly the same as it was when my Telrad was built. My ancient Telrad slips into both its original mount and this new one with equal precision.
This is cheap insurance. you can add one to each of your scopes and know that your Telrad will go on any of them. You dont have to have a Telrad for each scope even though it is good to have more than one, just in case. They use a wedge and two screw type mount so they are very easy to use. you can put them on with your tape (tends to stretch), the two sided tape already on it, or bolting it.
