About M-Audio Delta 66 Professional 6-In/6-Out Audio Card with Digital I/O PCI Digital Recording Interface

Sound quality, performance, and driver support are a few of the reasons that the Delta 66 has established worldwide recognition as a top choice in PCI-based digital audio solutions. With its superb engineering, the fidelity of the Delta 66 surpasses cards that cost many times more, giving your recordings the advantage of truly superior audio quality. The Delta 66 offers the professional performance required by today's most popular software programs, and provides you with features like 96 kHz recording, zero latency monitoring, digital mixing, and controllable SCMS. The Delta family of soundcards also offers more drivers and greater reliability than any other, which means that your Delta card will work (and work well) with whatever software you choose to use. Delta audio cards deliver more of what you need to make music on your terms.

If you need more professional connectivity, simply add the critically acclaimed Omni I/O (given a 10/10 "Ultimate Buy" rating in Computer Music magazine.) With the Omni I/O as its front end, the Delta 66 gains 2 pristine mic preamps (given Pro Audio Review's highest rating), an additional 8 inputs to its mixing section, 2 headphones sends, an FX send and return, dedicated monitor outs and record outs, auxiliary input record bussing, and more.

Drivers are what allows your card to communicate with audio applications. M-Audio offers drivers compliant with almost every possible application on the market. For MacOS, there are both Sound Manager and several different versions of ASIO. For Windows, there are ASIO, ASIO2, GSIF, EASI, as well as multi-client WDM (Win 2K) and MME drivers. Multiclient drivers allow you to use multiple applications simultaneously, allowing you to run sequencers, soft-synths, and other programs at the same time. We are also committed to supporting both MacOS x and Windows xP.
