I purchased a NT1-A online which unknowingly came with a 3rd party shock mount & pop-shield which was attached to goose neck with a plastic snap which was almost impossible to attach. The entire mount was designed poorly, the mic wasn't secure, the bands became detached easily, and the pop-shield mount was a joke. I assumed I was getting the SM6, which is probably why I got such a 'great deal'. I ordered the SM6 after a day of wrestling with the 3rd party shock mount. If you're looking for a quality shock mount with pop shield, save yourself a lot of aggravation and get the Rode SM6.
