The AR AWD210 is a comfortable wireless headset with excellent overall quality, but it falls short in a couple areas. Even so, I greatly prefer it over my Sennheiser RS 130 wireless headphones. The range and clarity are *excellent.* I can move almost anywhere in my 2-story house or yard and still have clear reception. I periodically catch some static in the right ear piece, but it is infrequent. The base level is set higher than I prefer. I wish it were possible to adjust the base & treble to my preferences. Otherwise, the sound quality is good, volume ample, and the over-the-ear muffs do a great job of dampening outside noise. The muffling is handy when doing chores or using exercise equipment, and I like that they aren't as bulky as most other circumaural headphones. My main qualm was that there is *only one power cord* provided that has to be shared between the headset and the transmitter. It is possible to use a cell phone power cord as well (mini-USB type) for the transmitter or headset provided the voltage is the same (5V) and it provides enough amps (e.g., 0.7A > 0.5A requirement). The transmitter is designed to be portable, and you can use a DC power phone charger cord in a vehicle (good for passengers) if you don't want to feed it batteries. While there is some great technology in this product, I think it is slightly lacking in design (specifically, it should have a second power cord or a charging station). P.S.: I use a cheap Belkin RockStar headphone splitter to hook my computer, entertainment system, mp3 player, etc. to the transmitter. That way I don't have to be constantly changing cords out. Why mess with cords when you have a wireless headset?
