The plate is sturdy and fits Arca Swiss just fine, but it is a lot thicker then my other plates. The biggest draw back for me is the lack of a quick screw spot to attach a monopod to your camera without removing the plate. My wimberly plate has this feature.

It is suppose to be OEM, but somehow it does not slide into the ARCA ballhead.

Adorama saves the day once again! Fits the Acra Swiss Ballhead perfectly. Strong thick metal construction. A well made product with a nice finish. A fraction of the cost of the Acra Swiss quick release plates. I wish they made a larger version to better support large telephoto lenses. The affordable price makes it easy to put them on all your cameras.

Well engineered - strong and fits all arca-swiss style quick release heads. My only CON is the fact it requires an allen wrench to tighten or remove the plate for the camera/lens. I would prefer a screw mount that can use a coin to tighten/loosen. I always have coins with me, but not always an allen wrench! BTW - the proper sized wrench is included with the plate.

It does what it supposed to do. Solid build. It could be a bit thinner to reduce some weight. The use of a hex wrench is okay, but now I have to make sure that I don't lose it.

Wanted a generic plate for my backup camera without spending custom plate prices. This guy does what it's supposed to at a lower price than any other generic plate around. A little thick, but I can live with that. Including a hex wrench is a nice touch.
