About this item

The Bonica Seashell SS-1 Universal Underwater Housing allows you to use your digital camera underwater down to 130' (40m). It is also ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on the ski slopes. This universal housing can be customized; therefore, many different digital compact cameras with a centrally located lens can be used in the housing. This includes the Canon Powershot SD1400, Fuji Finepix F200EXR, Leica C-Lux 3, Olympus Stylus 9000, Panasonic DMC-FS12, Pentax W80, Sony Cybershot W390, and many others.

The housing has a 1/4-20 tripod socket so you can mount an external flash. Use your camera's internal flash to trigger a slaved external strobe like those made by Fantasea, Sea & Sea, Ikelite, or SeaLife. This will produce better images than using just the camera's built in flash.
