great travel tripod

By

I wanted a small and light tripod for travel. I wasn't that concerned about absolute unflinching stability though... and i don't think its realistic to expect that from a 3.1lb tripod regardless of brand. this one met my expectations. i have no issue w/ FF DSLR and f4 zooms. for full disclosure, I do end up setting the camera on 3 second exp delta and holding the center column w/ my hand.

Shopper  Can it hold a d300 with grip and a sigma 50-500?
Andrew R  As long as your camera/lens combination does not exceed the 17.6 pound capacity of this tripod, then yes it should hold your D300 and Sigma 50-500.
