This is a solid backdrop stand. It connects well and does not have play like cheaper stands. The included case makes taking this along a breeze for shoots on locations.

this is an "ok" stand, the drawback is that the width is not quite 10 feet. I have purchased Manfrotto products in the past, but was disappointed with the quality of this product seeing how expensive it is.

I love how easy this is to set up, the carrying bag is actually a good one and no piecing together the top bar, you can make it however long you want.

I absolutely love how the units connect with each other. They inter-lock. There is plenty of room in the bag for lightning stands AND the bag is really nice

Right out of the box 1,2,3 and it up. Breakdown is easy and back in the bag. Comes with the clips to hold background. Awesome. Also I received this item very quickly. Thanks for that.

The overall value is great. I did a lot of research and found that many negatives came around the crossbar. This one is solid and the twist lock works very well once you figure it out. The cusion stands are a nice touch. The way the 2 stands clip together is a little odd and not sure what it adds, but certainly isn't a negative. The case is solid and the shoulder strap is a plus.

I usually shoot outdoors, but had a pre-event portrait to take when there was rain forecast. I was dreading the whole backdrop thing thinking it would be a pain, but this is incredibly simple to use and feels very sturdy. There's really nothing to put together - it's just a matter of expanding the lightstands and sticking the crossbar on top. I love that the crossbar is all one piece that telescopes to be shorter or longer.

I have seen another (cheaper) setup like this that came with 3 section cross bars (made of 3 separate pieces that 'plug' in to one another to form a single cross bar). Issue with that setup is, you have a choice of 1m (using 1 pole), 2m (using 2 poles) or 3m (using all 3 poles)... you can not have anything in between the 3 options. This product has sliding cross bar (much like light stands) that allows you to choose the width you want. It is set to certain width by simple twist motion. Simple but an effective design! If I could improve on the design, I would hope for a kit that can stretch to 3m (9'8") height, rather than 2.5m (8'2"). And just in case you are wondering what appears to be 2 'hooks' on cross bar (appears in the product photo) are... they are included clamps.

Great Value, good and secure mounts, I have used it for backdrops of cloth and paper. Its compact design allows it to be transported with ease. Add some large clips to the top and the sides for a near perfect backdrop.
