I expected a tripod that would be easier to use for this amount of money. Although I purchased this primarily for still photography (which is overkill somewhat), I do use it for filmmaking/videography purposes as well. The problem is not necessarily the build quality, that is quite good, it's how easy it is to pan or tilt and cause the head to go out of level. Once you level the head using the bubble, you have to twist the center of the extension to lock the heads movement down. And I mean you really have to crank it hard to hold. Then when any pan or tilt movements come into play, you can still knock it out of level. Some may like this design, I find it more time consuming and have missed shots because it slows me down. I gave it 3 stars because it's not a bad tripod, just expensive for how easily it goes out of level.
