Function follows form with this Italian beauty. No paint to chip and just a wonderful, functional table-top. It handles my Sony A900 with battery/handgrip, a 70-210 mm zoom and a hand-bracket mounted flash without even breathing hard.

Little dude does it all. Heavy construction but still lightweight. Love the metal construction the most. Ball is tight and rigid. Hold my D300 with grip and 77mm lens at any angle with no slipping. Really didn't expect it to be able to do it. Manfrotto though!

Very light and compact. Perfect when you don't want to lug the big tripod. It holds my D90 with 18-200mm lens just fine. My only complaint is that I had to finish Manfrotto's manufacturing job. The thumb screw handle detached itself from the ball locking set screw the first time I used it. I fixed it with loc-tite and have had no problems since.

What do you do with a Nikon D90 with an 18-200 mm Nikon Lens and need a tripod... Just reach into your pocket and pull this thing out. Extremely light but is VERY heavy duty. It easily supports a heavy weight camera and lens combination. A simple item that is a real work horse. I highly recommend it.

I needed a tripod for travel, small enough to fit in my camera bag and not too bulky or heavy. This thing is perfect. Folds up nice, and solidly built. My Nikon D40 with 18-200 VR has no problem in any direction, will not topple over. A bit pricey, but, this solidly built unit will definitely have a service life longer than my own.

As professional photographers have known for ages, using a tripod is one of the best means of improving your pictures. This little Manfrotto tripod is so light that you can always pack it in your camera bag wherever you go. Due to its low height, it doesn't always give you the best perspective when you have to place it on the floor
