Great tripod for special applications
Tripod selected to mount floodlights. The mounting head is particularly well suited for secure connections to heavy gear. No quick-release capability, but that definitely wasn't what we were looking for. Great value product.

I have 5 still tripods ranging from 40 pound rating to table top tripods. I bought this one for my carry on and it's exactly what I needed. Now I have 6 tripods. I use it with my 70-210 4.0 Canon on a 5DII and a 24-105 4.0. Total kit is compact, light weight. When I arrive to my hotel I have my bigger ones for work but when I go out at night I take this one for pleasure. This tripod is ready for fast use. Super compact and light weight. I use the legs extended but folded together as a mono pod or set it up as a tripod.

great little light tripod
I shoot at night often, moving fast, shooting quickly. Bought this tripod recently and brought it to Panama to teach a workshop. A student used it and Bought it from me, so I am ordering another today.If you don't Need a taller tripod you can't ask for a better one than this. the small ball head is so simple, compact and great.[@]
