Dan K : I have this on my Manfrotto MKC-h01 tripod. I want a quick and easy way to put my camera on the slider, and the slider on my tripod. I assume I would buy an extra one of these to put on the bottom of my slider and it will mount fast to my tripod. But if I already have one of these on the bottom of my Canon DSLR, what would I put onto the top of the slider that would take this quickly in without taking it off and messing with threaded screws?HANK R : I can't answer the question because, other than a White Castle hamburger, I have no idea what a "slider" is in the context of mounting a camera on a tripod. I have five of these; one on my Nikon DSLR, one on my Nikon 1, and one on my Olympus OM-1 and one on my Speed Graphic Century. I rarely take them off, unless I'm using a shoulder strap on my camera.

It fits perfectly.KELLEY L : It fits fine on my Manfrotto 7321YB lightweight tripod.CHARLES A : This is the one that my wife uses. Check the website to see if it matches your pod. This a great product with many options. Works very well on compact Manfrotto MKC3-H01
I use them for the Manfrotto Compact MKC3-H01 tripod, which is medium size unit with a very adjustable and easy to use "pistol" grip head. The plate fits it perfectly.

Great for smaller DSLRs and Vid Cams
Yes, the red pin is easily removable. No, not for use with heavy gear. If you already have the mini digi or one of Manfrottos older ultra-compact tripods with the that same head, adding a few of these to your tackle box adds a lot of versatility.

Fits perfectly for 7301YB
Got this for the Manfrotto 7301YB compact tripod, need an extra plate for my video cam so I dont have to swap them with my camera when needed. Adorama have the best price around and fast delivery.

Make 3 tripods from one
Quality and heavy duty. I use this adapter for each component; Canon 50D, Panasonic HDD video cam, and 20X60 Luepold spotting scope. With this adapter on each one of these, changing one product for another is done in seconds. Awesome product!! Like packing 3 tripods in one backpack.

Works just fine.
Haven't taken this off my Canon Rebel XSi since I got it. Works perfectly. Easily slips the camera on and off the tripod easily.

Bought as an Extra
I bought this as an extra to have for use with the tripod. The shoe fits in pretty nicely, but does have a small amount of play in it. I don't have any complaints on its holding ability and it screws firmly to the bottom of the camera.

Get One For Each Camera!!!
If you swap between digital still and a video cam or a film camera, you'll LOVE having this mounting plate already attached so you can just dfrop it onto the Tripod!
