Manfrotto Features

  • The MBAG70 is an unpadded tripod bag.
  • Slightly tapered to provide a better fit for your tripod with attached head.
  • The wider end of the bag accommodates the head without requiring all levers to be removed.
  • Zip extends down the length of the bag, but also fully opens the top end of the bag.
  • Again this makes it easier to get your tripod in and out of the bag.
  • Also means you can extract the tripod quickly from the end of the bag like an arrow from a quiver.
  • Logo end cap is padded to offer protection to the tripod head, the rest of the bag is unpadded.
  • Shoulder strap included (the MBAG70 doesn't have either end or side handle) .
  • Innovative design and style; ballistic nylon, zips and other materials used are of top quality.

Nice and good looking

It gets the job done. I was looking for a light weight tripod carrier. I don't like anything bulky. This first my 190CXPRO4 with 498RC2 ball head perfectly. The zipper along the top is a bit difficult to get around the curvebut that maybe it is just new and require a bit of break in.

Manfrotto Tripod Bag 27.6 x 5.9

This bag was very small. The dimensions allow no wiggle room. This is not a bag for heavy duty or medium duty tripods. If you have a lightweight alloy or slim tripod, this will work for you. The bag is lightweight, the padding on the end is very lightweight. The construction is basically good. The fabric is pretty tough, and the sewing quality is good. I ordered it hoping to get one of my medium duty tripods inside it, but it's just too small.

This product is well worth it's cost !!!

I now have a bag for all my various tripod and monopods. The bag sits upright which helps in loading and unloading. The construction gives solid support and protection. Just as advertised

good bag

By

from Sylvester, GA  -  Photography Student

This is a light-weight tripod bag, fitting the tripod and ball-head nicely without a lot of extra material left over. Only the ball-head cap of the bag is padded if that is important to you. Without all the padding, the bag folded up nicely in my suitcase.

Perfect bag for my tripod!

By

I have a Gitzo GT2541 Mountaineer tripod with a Gitzo GH2780QR Series 2 Centre ball head. With the ball head attached, the length is 27". The tripod bag was just long enough to fit the tripod with head attached, with a little bit to spare. The bag is not padded, but offers some protection from dirt, etc., without the extra weight the padding would add. I wanted to be able to squish this in a suitcase without extra weight. As others have said, a handle would be nice, but the shoulder strap may be sufficient. The zipper around the top opening does not move smoothly, but I'm hoping this will improve with use. Prompt service from Adorama!

Very good, ample, strong but I would ad it an inner pocket.

Good tripod case

By

from Chicago, IL  -  Casual Photographer

This is a good tripod bag. Even though the product title indicates "unpadded", the top and bottom are both slightly padded. The body of the case is not. For me, it is enough to have the top & bottom padded. It closes fine with my Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod with the Manfrotto 498RC2 still attached. As the previous reviewer noted, it is a bit tricky to get the zipper around the curve at first. It gets easier as the bag is used more. Overall, a decent tripod case if you don't need an all-over padded case.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
BRYAN D  this was the bag recommended to me by adorama for my manfrotto tripod. It is the one that I could keep my Manfrotto 327RC2 joystick head attached to the tripod so that I was ready in a moments notice to grab my tripod and run. At times it is tricky to use but if you lay the bag on the ground unzipped and then place the tripod in it ,it works nicely.
Shopper  do you have this in apadded case?
MAURICIO BADEL P  The bottom and top of this case is padded, the body is not. I believe there is a fully padded case, but will be more expensive. As for my experience, the padding on this case is enough for my Manfrotto tripod. Make sure you size properly this case for your Tripod, because you can fit a quite large Tripod in this case. Hope these helps.
