well, it's the old saying...you get what you pay for....for the price you can't go wrong....it's true i wasn't totally checked out on the camera before i plunged into the azure Caribbean waters, and my main complaints may be based on that, but here they are anyway: hard to see screen color correction for underwater??? ATE BATTERIES!!! GOBBLED 'EM UP!!
I wanted a small camera for unexpected opportunities, like vivid sunsets and candid moments. The problems with this camera, however, render it ineffective. I've captured a couple of dramatic scenics with it, mostly storm front clouds with sunrays, and it was OK other than not being able to see images on the screen (which is always a problem with this camera). For anything else, images are out of focus. I tried to photograph a small bird against a tree trunk and couldn't see the bird without looking over the top of the camera and guessing where the thing was at. Once I put the images on the computer, they were so fuzzy that they were completely unusable. Nice color, though. The AAA battery life is zilch and the camera came without a memory card, which added extra expense. This camera isn't even a good one for my kids.
