I do estimating for a construction company. This bag is perfect for bringing along everything I need. I have had it for about three years now.

I bought the first version in 2011. Made with different materials in a few key places, this would be the perfect bike commute bag. The shape and capacity are ideal for time on the bike, but the execution is flawed. The velcro strip on the top flap quickly destroys the mesh used for the front pockets, opening large holes through them, and it also degrades the coating on the material just above and below the mesh pockets. The small loop used to restrain the extra length of shoulder strap stretches, and the coating wears off quickly, making it much less reliable, as the extra strap length slides in and out too easily. I can send photos if you send me contact info. I think that the problem with the velcro may be solved by making the velcro strip on the top flap out of the fuzzy strip rather than the prickly one, and by putting the prickly strip on the front side of the bag proper. The strap retention loop should be made out of a length of the same material as the strap, with user-operable fasteners that can be undone and refastened in case the strap does come loose.

Bought one several years ago. That was and still is a great bag. Replaced it as it was just starting to look a little ragged after daily use for 6 years, but the new version is MUCH smaller and hardly holds enough once there is a computer in it. I use to use this for traveling and could fit a pair of shoes in it! Not now. very disappointed - same price - smaller bag :(
