Adapter required for sony's AIS
Using in a dim light show room with Sony SR12, recording crystal art work can be difficult in micro mode. So shoot them 10' away and zoom in the items so that light would be spread evenly upon them. Because there is no defuser on that device, video would be very bright on one spot. That is the reson shooting 10' away and zooming in would be better. Sony HVL-HL1 Video Light with built in defuser, which the only thing I do not like because it uses the camcoder's power, is better if you use Sony's camcode. Do not forget to buy an adapter for Sony's ASI if you use Sony's camcoder.
