ability to focus limited by camera. forget about focusing quickly.

An Ok lens for landscape and night photography. If you have good eyes you will be able to focus using viewfinder ground glass. My Canon T5i lacks manual focusing aids inthe view finder such as micro prisms etc. This lens required my use of magnified live view in order to focus. If your subjects are static such as landscapes then you will find this inexpensive lens useful. Otherwise consider getting an autofocus sigma 18-35 lens
