Use in LOw Light, as well as, additional light to brighten subjects out of doors. works well, and compatible for most DSLR's. Do not let the price fool you. Really a nice hot shoe flash for the money

Questions about this item:

enedina a  I have an Olympus E-500 DSLR. Would this bower sfd 290 work with my camera?
ROBERT S  I can't say for sure, if your camera has a "hot shoe" on it with a center point contact I will say it should work just fine. For a low end flash unit it has many needed features. I use them as slave lighting with external triggers. Best to you in your photography adventures.
Nikki J  I recently purchased a Nikon N90s film camera and am in need of a flash. Will this work? Prior to this I was the point and shoot photographer using a 35mm with built in flash :) So I am new to all the subleties of this kind of a camera.
PATIENCE W  Ive only used this flash for fill in flash. Its great for preventing shadows. I currently use the sb 700 as my major speedlight flash.
Shopper  With this Bower SFD290 Flash work fine and fully compatible with my Sony A330 DSLR?
PATRICK S  No it will not.
