Works great for sporting events where you need two cameras. Comfortable and easy to put on. Recommended!

I got the review request, but haven't been able to get out and test the double strap in the field, but locked a couple of my cameras to it and walked around and it feels fantastic.

I use this product to carry both camera's for weddings and when I am hiking through the woods. What a neck and back saver! I carry it in my car just so I know I'll have it whenever I need it.

Bought this product to shoot a concert and it was extremly handy to have two cameras on with this strap. You don't even feel the weight of the cameras as you with with their normal straps. Love this product

I used to have the single strap and gave it to a friend. I later bought this double strap for my Nikon D200 with the 70-200VR, and the Nikon D7100 with the 17-55VR lens. I went hiking last weekend in the Shenandoah, the hike was 4.5 miles with 900ft up and down elevation. There was hardly any strain on the neck and felt very little weight on my shoulder. Feel very good about my purchase.

If you're a solo shooter doing special events like weddings and such, it's very important to have 2 slr bodies outfitted with a wide to medium range, fast lens on one and medium to telephoto, fast lens on the other. I learned the hard way of using 2 bodies with individual straps and no support. I like to secure one body and carry the other by hand, and when it comes to switching from wide to telephoto, I usually stumble on which camera I should hang around my shoulder and carry on the other, and even realizing that I'm using the wrong lens. I was at one point being choked by my own camera strap due to my camera swinging around loosely around my neck. My hands were always tired and my shoulders beat after long hours of shooting and carrying 2 bodies with heavy lenses at the end of the day. So I decided to invest on a dual camera strap with better shoulder and back support – BlackRapid Double Camera Strap. Having the straps rest comfortably and evenly on my shoulders, I can shoot, switch cams with the appropriate lens, and move around with ease, and not tangling my self with my own camera strap. It is a very good investment, especially if you're shooting during long periods of time.

I carry two camera bodies constantly and this strap makes convenience and comfort top priorities. I ended up getting the carry speed plate for use with a tripod. Thats the only downfall is if you need to change mounting plates so I suggest getting the plate so you never have to do any changing because the tripod mount screws right into the carry speed plate. Well worth the price and you definitely want peace of mind when carrying such expensive equipment. Thats why I wouldnt settle for a cheap off brand. If your going to invest in the equipment it only makes sense to invest in keeping it safe.

Awesome product! I had a hard time deciding on the DR-1 or the DR-2, the literature/information from Black Rapid is vague concerning size. What is small and large? I wear a 44 coat and the DR-1 fits comfortably with a 1/2" space between the pads in the back and its expandable to a 3" space. I use 2 cameras on occasion but mostly have one for trekking and the DR-1 cover both needs perfectly. They should include the "Brad" with the purchase because when you're using one strap, if you lock the camera behind your hip it won't stay there, it slides forward. Well built, good design and comfortable, but a bit pricy.

The BlackRapid double strap has changed my life. Never before have I been able to carry so much artillery and still have my hands free! The straps are unbelievably comfortable, really stay put, and distribute the weight of your cameras and lenses perfectly. And the straps separate into two for those days where you're just carrying one camera. All of the pieces are sturdy and strong, and I always feel confident that my cameras and lenses are safe in BlackRapid's hands. My only complaint would be that they have to attach to the tripod socket. I almost never use tripods, but this would be a real pain if you do. The socket connection also prevents you from setting your camera on a flat surface like you normally would (you have to lie it down on its back instead).

I use to carry a huge heavy back pack with me when I follow my BRIDE for outside shoot. Now I carry 2 unit full set up camera with no problem with this gadget. A very good addition to my equipment

Black Rapid is the bomb! I bought an R-4 and was very impressed, I bought RW-1 for the wife, I bought another DSLR and NEEDED a DR-1... What a way to carry your camera's. Fast, ready, comfortable, and stylish, I get compliments everytime I wear the DR-1.

i did an event with multiple cameras, used the factory straps, and struggled with the cameras the entire time. so i upgraded to this camera strap setup and love it it's simple, lightweight, comfortable, and works great at keeping your 2nd camera out of the way when not in use. and yet when needed, the camera simply slides up and is instantly ready to go. the straps are comfortable and even using a heavy lens didn't give any fatigue after longer use the extra ability to take it apart and use it as a single strap is nice for those times you're only shooting with one camera gave it 4 stars only because of the price (for a camera strap, i wish it were a little less expensive)
