It's always best to buy the cartridge that was made for the machine. As my printer gets older, it is harder to find the ink cartridge in a store. I do hate to have all the items shipped separately, it generates a lot of waste shipping boxes, but i didn't have much choice.

I always buy the high yield ink because it lasts longer and looks to me. I will continue to buy it every time I run out.

Best price I could get, anywhere. Fast delivery at a low price (I was out of ink and had to print!). Most helpful, friendly, accurate, and competent, really professional service from my Adorama sales rep Andrew Cohen … WITH the best price too! The ink is a genuine Brother product and not the "compatible" inks which are almost always not as good, albeit half the cost; Brother Innobella inks are a fine product I use a lot of, so I know. B&W and color printing is comparable in quality of results to OEM Epson inks but not as pricey as Epson for factory-genuine/original ink. Suggestion for Brother. What I want is a clear, on the package estimate of unopened Brother Innobella ink shelf life. Then, if long enough, I can buy a lot more, store it safely, and get an even better deal for buying a lot more at once! I do not like running out yet having to print. NEW PRODUCT SPECIES VARIATION IDEA FOR BROTHER: develop and market special edition EXTENDED SHELF LIFE inks. I would pay a premium to own and stash, store and use such inks. Talk about high product differentiation that meets serious, long unmet, no-convincing needs?; well, good Brother, you've got it here.
