Bushnell 10x42mm Legend Ultra HD Water Proof Roof Prism Binocular with 6.5 Degree Angle of View, 15.2mm Eye Relief, RainGuard HD

About Bushnell 10x42 Roof Prism

The Bushnell 10 x 42 mm Legend Ultra HD Binocular have long been regarded as a great hunter or birder's value and the 2009 updates offer serious advantages over the prior generations. Bushnell has increased the field of view with just a tiny decrease in eye relief and that extra field surrounds your peripheral vision within the binocular.

The Legend HD Ultra's objective lenses now feature extra-low dispersion glass, which aims to eliminate chromatic aberration. Other improvements include a facelift to the housing armor, magnesium construction to shave precious amounts of weight and new anti-reflective internal lens coatings to maximize overall color rendition.

The 10 x 42 model provides increased magnification and subject size in a standard weight for enthusiastic birders, making for a great all-around hunting and sporting unit for those that prefer the bolder view from a 10x optic (which always presents a less stable image than an 8x unit). This roof prism design offers a streamlined shape for better handling for most average-to-smaller hand.

Expensive looking junk

Looks expensive. Feels expensive. Look through it and you might as well be looking through two coke bottle bottoms.

Wish it came with with a tripod adapter, but didn't. Accessories were nice - an enjoyable purchase

I Can See Clearly Now

from Baltimore, MD  -  Casual/ Recreational

Needed to have something that was lightweight and compact to use when birding. Since we are near the water a lot, also wanted something that was water proof and fog proof. The Bushnell 10x42 H2O fit the job. Can't wait to get a second pair.

Questions about this item:

Tom H  Iam 72years old and do not see like a kid. Seeing bullet holes at 200 yards is becoming a problem. I have a spotting scope but isn't enough for me to see. Looking out of a 7-35 bin. I could see fair but I was at a State park. Need a strong pair. Any suggestions?
JEFFREY J  Spotting scopes are usually pretty powerful so I doubt that binoculars will serve you any better in that respect. If, however, you want to replace your 7x35 binoculars the Bushnell Legend 10x42 binoculars that I have are an excellent choice. I own several pairs (8x40, 10x50, 7 to 15 variable & small pocket size Nikons). The Bushnell Legend 10x42 are far and away my favorite pair. They are light with good optics and good light gathering capabilities. An excellent all around choice.
Tom H  What if I bought them and didn't like them, how easy is the return and to get my money back.
