Being new to astrophotography I wasn't sure what I needed to start taking pictures. I had access to a DSLR camera and so I got a Celestron Universal T-Adapter. It worked but I was limited because of there isn't any magnification and even with a barlow planet images were small. I started looking for a projection adapter and found the Bushnell adapter. It works great with the Meade Series 4000 Plossl Eyepieces set I have. I've been able to get some good pictures of Saturn and the moon.

supports Pentax DSLR solidly in telescope, allows use of 1.25" filters internally...works well

For the price, you can't go wrong. Works well in both prime focus and projection with plossl installed. The fit for the plossl is pretty tight - but all of mine fit (the largest requiring perfect alignment before it slid in). Sturdy all metal construction - again - for the price, I can't fault it! Used in conjunction with a Nikon D5000 and f8.8 Newtonian with great results.

This adapter is well made and sturdy. It is a 2 piece design that allows some flexibility in how the camera is used with the telescope.
