Best for bang with B+W

By

The quality of this product is very good . I put it on my len everytime to protect it from dust & no need to take out when take photo cause it does not affect any to picture quality . That's great . With price 15$ for grade E (Exellent) & from B+W quality , you can not get any better choice than this .. I would highly recommend it to you , especially when you used with Nikon manual focus len ( 52 mm is the standard fiter size of Nikon manual focus len ) , but be careful with ultrawide len , I think it's ok for using this len for range from 28 mm & above ( on Fullframe )

B+W quality for reasonable price

By

With filter size 52 , you can mount it to many Nikon fixed manual focus len . With only 15$ for B+W quality & grade E (Excellent) on cosmetic , there is no better choice for sure ! However , the frame of this filter is big ( more than 5 mm ) ,hence be careful when shot with wide len (less than 24 mm ). I would highly recommend this filter for who shot with normal & tele photo lens , especially with Nikon manual focus len . For Wide or ultrawide shoot , forget this filter for sure !

Great lens protection! Love B+W filters!

By

I use B+W filters on my lenses for protection from UV and scratches to the lens itself. I've tried many brands and B+W is by far my favorite. I love the way this filter stands the test of time. Great product for any photographer.

Great Quality

I bought this for silky waterfall shots & for shooting fireworks. So far it's been great. I'm hoping to have great weather next weekend when I go to Hocking Hills Ohio to tackle the many waterfalls...

Better Safe Then Sorry

By

When shooting digital, the filter hinders picture quality more then improving it. However, a scratched or busted lens hinders the picture quality even more. B+W filters have my trust. They protect ALL my lenses, and they do it well.

Does the job, good build quality.

The optics are fine, but the mount is most impressive. I've had cheaper ones that were pretty flimsy. It's worth the money.

Good quality as usual.

A typically good B&W product.

Shopper  will this fit my Nikon AF Nikkor 35mm 1:2D lens?
DANA J  Yes, this filter will fit that lens.
Shopper  will this fit my Nikon AF Nikkor 35mm 1:2D lens?
DANA J  Yes, this filter will fit that lens.
Shopper  I have a 50mm 1.8 AF D lens for my Nikon D50. I would like to know if this will fit my lens as I cracked my filter lens?
JONATHAN F  JOHN M - Don't confuse focal length with filter size. Both are printed on the lens so it can be confusing. The focal length is usually printed on the front of the lens, around the circumference of the front element. The filter size may also be there, or it could be somewhere else. The "ø" symbol differentiates the filter size from the focal length. On the 50mm f/1.8 AF D lens, the focal length is printed on the front ("50mm") and the filter size is printed on the bottom (ø=52mm).
