Excellent filter/lens protection

I originally bought a UV filter for 11 bucks, and after thinking that I paid over 200 dollars for a Canon lens, I realized that my lens is only going to be as good as my filter. I decided to return the filter and buy this brand from Adorama. I am very pleased with it, and there is absolutely no degradation of the images.

The best filter I own!

By

You can just tell as soon as I opened the box how well made this filter is. It is strong the glass is perfect and the metal arond the glass holds the glass with such amazing tolerances. I will recommend this filter over any other I have ever used hands down.

Perfect Condition

By

This used filter was in perfect condition. When I asked the Adorama representative about condition I was assured it was perfect. I wouldn't want a used filter that was less than perfect and it wasn't. Bargain compared to new.

Great for lens protection

By

from California  -  Casual Photographer

Barely had this filter and so far I am impressed with it. I did a quick test taking two shots with and without the filter, image quality is identical and no one can tell difference. That being said, I haven't tested this test in various lighting situations. Good use as a barrier for dusty conditions.

No Picture Degradation

By

from Chattanooga, TN  -  Photo Enthusiast

A friend bought a less expensive UV lens and immediately discarded it due to degradation of picture quality. I can't detect any with this lens. I wanted protection for my lens since I will be experiencing salt water spray.

Mariana P  this filter is used for canon cameras (t3 or 1000D)?
SCOTT K  It's not the camera body that matters, it's the lens you want to put it on. This is a 58 mm filter, which will only fit a lens with a 58 mm diameter thread, on the face of the lens (note--diameter is different than focal length). Your kit lens is probably 58 mm, but double check to make sure. Diameter is usually identified by a circle with a slash through it.
