Quality, but material makes it hard to screw off circular polarizers!
Great, solid step up ring. The only negative is that my circular polarizer gets "stuck" on here often and is hard to screw off. That doesn't happen on my MUCH cheaper Sensei 52-77mm step up ring. B+W has quality products, but I don't use their filters, nor will I buy their step up rings anymore because they just don't provide a good value. Just buy a Sensei. 4 stars because quality, but one star less for the hassle!

Works fine but much too expensive
B + W products are high-quality. I bought this for adapting the new Fujifilm 55-200 mm lens for my new Fujifilm X-T1 to my 77 mm filters (for my Canon lenses). It goes on easily but costs much too much. I was able to buy perfectly adequate, less-expensive rings for the 10-24 mm (72 mm) and 18-55 mm (58 mm) lenses, but the B + W was the only one in stock for 62 to 77 mm.

Perfect for the Nikon 200mm f4 lens
I was looking for an adapter for my Nikon 200mm f4 lens found this one as the perfect fit. It allows me to use my 77mm filters and even the lens cover are all exchangeable. I was hesitated weather should I get the lenshood for the lens but after using this adapter I think I am fine. The quality is excellent so its actually works like a lens protector at the front end of the lens. It also makes the lens looked pretty :-)
I would highly recommend this product to the Nikon 200mm/F4 owners.

Excellent quality and value
Simplifying my filter collection while easing the pain in my pocketbook were the reasons to make the purchase...money well spent.

Expecting more
This step-up ring does the job of converting my 200mm f/4 Micro lens to 77mm filter ring. But it stops there. I bought a 72mm to 77mm ring from B+W before and that was much better than this one. The material of this ring seems like plastic with some anodized coating. The thread to accomodate the filter is prone to getting the filter to stuck in there. I had to resort to putting a piece of ice on the filter to get the filter off of this ring. I was quite dissappointed with B+W with this one.

Essential for your kit!
This set-up ring allows me to purchase all the same size filters (77mm) and use them on my 62mm Nikon 105mm VR lens without having to spend more money on more filters and also lessening how much gear I have to carry!

Does what it is supposed to do
Works just fine permitting me to carry only 77mm filters. I have their rings in 52 and 67mm. All well made. Far better than the cheaper ones.
