My Pentax K-100 is a power hog. I used rechargeable AA batteries for years but after a few recharges they don't put out enough to run the camera even though they still work fine in everything else. Lithium AAs don't last long either even though they still show full charge in other uses. CR-V3s are the only batteries that last. I got ~2000 pictures out of the last set.

WILLIAM S  Negative....not presented or packaged as being - Rechargeable capable ! {Does state on outer battery casing - Caution: "Battery can explode or cause burns if Disassembled, Recharged or exposed to Fire or High Temperatures" = your choice..!} ** I did recently purchase an AC charger (on-line elsewhere) for CR123 batteries, which I currently have not used yet. The pair of CR123 batteries in my Xenon flashlight, are not listed as Rechargeable either. When batteries drain out - will try a short & constantly watched, re-charging test out pure curiosity + proof to self..! **
