I've used these batteries several times since receiving them. They charge quickly and retain a charge for longer than any rechargable I've used. I used them for a wedding and shot over 300 pictures at variable power and the batteries kept up with the shooting even at the reception.

Used two-four packs in two camera flashes on a photo shoot that lasted almost three hours. The flashes were strong throughout the shoot, and had enough left to do a two hour shoot the next day.

I have used these batteries for years new. They are long lasting, hold a charge great, recharge quickly. They are a little more powerful than regular over the counter rechargeable's. I use them in both my shoe mount flash's and as back up batteries for my motor drive. by all means will buy them again when what I have need replaced.

Easy to use straight out of the box. Love the various options for recharging and ability to recharge AAA and AA batteries. Had to reveiw the paperwork a couple of times to get started, but otherwise easy to use and implement into our workflow.

I finally bought enough of these (at least 16) to make sense and I love it. I've always struggled with not enough or mis-matched batteries, but throwing down for a bunch of the same battery, plus the 8-cell charger strip (http://www.adorama.com/BYMHC800S.html), was liberating. I now have enough for an 8-battery SD-9, all my speedlights and pocket wizards, plus a full set of spares. Next is another strip charger as I've already been nervously waiting for a batch to finish right before a job. And of course - yes - these things do seem to last longer than I could have hoped and they are the only ones I've found that come with a carry box. You pay for it in the cost, but that's just one less thing to shop for. I've had intermittent luck with the higher maH (2850) Ansmans, so these are my current favorite.

First of all, I never use other than rechargeables (Go green) and being a Wedding photography having good, reliable batteries is a must. I must fire each flash at least 200 times every wedding and the Powerex handles each shot without a problem. Also, because they hold charge, I have used them for 2 events before I get them to recharge again.

The Maha PowerEx 2700 mAh NiMH Rechargeable AA Batteries offer a super long run time. It comes with a PowerEx battery carrying case that can hold up to four AA or AAA batteries.
