I found the hard to find battery

I have a 35mm SLR [...] Camera over 35 yrs. old that still looks and works like new, but I had just about given up on finding the correct battery for it. It has sat up the past 15 yrs. for that reason. Thank goodness you carried the correct batter with the CORRECT voltage, 1.35 instead of the 1.5's currently available. Now the camera works like it is supposed to. Thank you for carrying this battery, I will be back for more. I highly recommend this product!

Waste of money.

These cells barely hold a charge for 3 (that's right, three!) weeks. The metering is waaaay off because of these cells. Save your money and buy some other cells since these do not work at all, not even in the least.

Wasted Money

from Farmingville, NY  -  Photo Enthusiast

Worked when installed in my old Gossen Luna Pro. Used lightly for a few shots, stored meter as normal. 4-6 weeks later dead cells. Measured with DVM-dead. Live and learn.

perfect replacement for mercury battery

from Brooklyn, NY  -  Casual user

I bought this battery to use in an old super 8 that took a PX625 mercury battery (which is no longer manufactured/available). It works perfectly.

Good replacement

from Scranton, Pa  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

After opening and waiting for them to activate, they work great making my meter very accurate. They only last about 2-3 months in my Konica Autoreflex TC.

Old Minolta SLR new again!

from Wauseon, Ohio  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I needed a battery for an old Minolta SLR. It had a Mercury battery, not made any more. I read an article on line about the Wein Cell PX625 so I ordered 2. That o'l Minolta works like new again! Thanks Adorama!

Battery alternatives for old cameras

from Panamá  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

It fits perfectly on my Olympus RC35 Rangefinder. I have compared the light meter when using this battery, and it's very accurate.

WEIN 1.35V Cell for Replacement

from Mesa, AZ  -  Semi-Professional

I purchased a 12-pack buy of this cell. My use is primarily in an old 1960's LEICAMETER MR. This cell can also be used for the dual cell need of a 1970's Canon EF, although I understand that a 1.55V PX625 also works just fine. Someone has written elsewhere that the Canon EF has an internal regulator. True or not,I do not know. The nice thing about this WEIN cell is that it is environmentally friendly so it may be discarded with no concerns. Also, this cell is supposed to die suddenly at end-of-life, so carrying a spare one at all times would be highly recommended. When used with the LEICAMETER MR or MR4 there is no need to have the meter device recalibrated to accomodate a different voltage cell.

Bridge from Mercury saves my old camera

from Wesley, AR  -  Semi-Professional

This is a good solution to replace some of the old Mercury batteries that many Yashica cameras, light meters of early year required. Not perfect technology but a bridge for now. Worth giving a try if you still want to use some of the vintage gear of our past.

Works well in Leica M3

from Denver  -  Semi-Professional

I use this battery in my M3. It works well in the Leica Meter MR.
